This comprehensive project involved the complete restoration and enhancement of an existing boat cut and mooring area. The work included the replacement of old or damaged piles, the installation of a new Tanalised Redwood deck, and a unique landscaping feature: the incorporation of a reed bed to provide a natural, living screen for the new decking area. All materials and labour were conducted exclusively from the water using a pontoon, a crucial aspect of the project’s success.

Strategic Repiling: Our first step was to assess the existing piling. We systematically removed any compromised piles and installed new, robust ones to create a solid and durable foundation for the new deck. This critical phase ensured the long-term stability and safety of the mooring.
Tanalised Redwood Decking: We supplied and installed high-quality Tanalised Redwood for the new decking. This material was chosen for its excellent durability, resistance to rot and insect damage, and its warm, natural aesthetic.
